6) Worked as Principal Investigator of a cooperative research project entitled  “Collection of Pedigree and Performance Data  (1970- 1997) from the Central Cattle Breeding Station and Savar Dairy Farm, Savar, Dhaka for developing   genetic evaluation system” between Dept. of Animal Breeding and Genetics, BAU, Bangladesh and Division of Applied Biosciences, Kyoto University, JAPAN (1997-’98).

7) During Postdoc research analyzed the genetic trend in a crossbreeding program used for the development of a new race of beef cattle. Also analyzed the genetic trend in a long-term (46 generations) mice selection program in GERMANY (1998-1999).

8) Worked as Principal Investigator of a project on Genetic characterization of indigenous chicken populations of Bangladesh funded by ILRI, Nairobi, Kenya.

9) Worked as Principal Investigator of a project on Genetic characterization of indigenous sheep population of Bangladesh funded by ILRI, Nairobi, Kenya.

10) Worked as National Coordinator of “Development and application of decision-support tools to conserve and sustainably use genetic diversity in indigenous livestock and wild relatives- Regional UNEP-GEF-ILRI Asia   project (2004- 2005) with  ILRI, Kenya through UNEP-GEF funding (PDF-B Phase).
